Navigating Seasons Require Your Pivot

Pivot isn’t a new word.

I remember hearing the word Pivot countless times during the beginning of the pandemic and even now. For some, that word and the gravity of it came as a surprise. However, for me- a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, it was a norm. It is a part of what I do and help others to do. Transitioning to “new normals,” offering fresh perspectives, listening intently, helping others navigate their now, etc.

It’s all a part of their great pivot that has become the new buzz word. But isn’t that what life is, a series of Pivots? A season of change, a series of ebb and flow.

New seasons aren’t necessarily about going to a new place - literally. Most of the time, pivots consist of a new way of thinking. A fresh perspective that will serve you well in your new season…or in transitioning as you leave behind the old. I hope that you are doing well as you make room and adjust to the new.

The old season may or may not have served you well. But I’m certain there are gems that will carry you, as you make the changes needed. Seeing a Counselor for the first time or picking up where you left off - will be a great pivot that is certain to serve you well; In your now and your future.
