Prioritize Your Day with a Morning Routine

Success is planned.

There was a major discovery I had to own about myself. I thrived when my morning and day was planned. And I was less productive when I allowed the day (or my feelings) to lead. Success doesn’t just happen.

More than 90 percent of executives or highly influenced people took charge of their morning. While their scheduled varied, they shared a common thing: they planned their day the night before. Many complain of not having enough time, boundaries not being respected, or stress taking its toll. But did you know that while you can’t control everything (thank God), you can control some things. And your morning routine may be one of them.

Starting the day off right fuels anyone to be more productive, more satisfied with how they’re doing in life, honoring and applauding the small steps, and having better boundaries. If you have obligations, and we all do, how can you prepare the night ahead for a smoother and more efficient morning? My challenge to you- pick one thing. If you can do more than one, great. But choosing that one thing creates space for more to come.

My prayer for you is that success is within reach and when you start small, you’re more inclined to be consistent and continue to keep your appointments with yourself. You deserve it.
